DocumentedCourt recordFrench intelligence allegation
Owens publicly alleges French DGSE involvement in the assassination and claims the alleged shooter was trained by a French Foreign Legion brigade; the French Ministry's only response addressed Robinson by name ('never trained with the Legion'), leaving the broader allegation formally unanswered.
AllegedCandace Ep 318Photos of the transport SUV released
Owens publishes photos of the rental SUV Kirk was carried in; a source attributes 'likely a frangible bullet' to surgeon Dr. Trotter, contradicting the ricochet framing, and alleges the recovered rifle was produced only after inexperienced officers re-searched a median already cleared by bomb dogs, after which the SUV was sent to auction without inspection.
AllegedCandace Ep 2812026 — What Surfaced
Erika invokes speedy-trial rights
Erika Kirk invokes victim-side speedy-trial rights under Utah code 77-38-9; critics argue the move pressures a trial before the defense can examine the evidence.
DocumentedCourt filing, Utah 77-38-9Prosecution dumps 12 TB on defense
At a conference, prosecutors hand the Robinson defense 12 terabytes and roughly 600,000 files, on top of tens of thousands of prior documents and hundreds of hours of media.
DocumentedCourt recordAutopsy photographs produced
Autopsy photographs are finally produced to the Robinson defense.
DocumentedCourt recordATF cannot match bullet to rifle
A 28-page defense continuance motion reveals the ATF cannot match the bullet to the rifle attributed to Robinson and that the FBI plans Comparative Bullet Lead Analysis, a method the FBI abandoned in 2005 after it was scientifically discredited.
DocumentedDefense motionHearing: no data, rifle held at Quantico
At the continuance hearing, defense lawyers state the FBI produced only summary reports with no underlying data or electronic chain-of-custody, that the defense has never been given Robinson's phone, and that it has never seen the rifle, which is held at FBI Quantico despite the case being a Utah state prosecution.
DocumentedCourt hearingGrandfather doubts the wound
In a courthouse hallway, Robinson's grandfather, the rifle's original owner and a self-described hunter taught ballistics, says the wound is 'not what a .30-06 would do.'
DocumentedCourthouse recordingEdits found in released text exhibits
Owens's producer identifies edits to the released Robinson text-message exhibits, including a newly added line attributed to Robinson about the bomb-dog deployment.
AllegedCandace Ep 328The exploding-microphone theory
The mic-rig theory crystallizes, proposing Kirk's Rode Wireless Pro lavalier as a shaped-charge kill mechanism; Philip Goldsberry Jr. is named as the man who clipped the mic on Kirk.
AllegedCandace Eps 350–351The command chain above SAM 702
The documented chain above the SAM 702 office runs Bradley Hansel (Under Secretary of War for Intelligence) up to Stephen Feinberg (Deputy Secretary of Defense; Cerberus co-founder; Cerberus owned DynCorp 2010–2020) and Pete Hegseth. A related FOIA request was stonewalled. The link to Kirk's death is the inference drawn from the chain, not the chain itself.
DocumentedDoD org chart / corporate records; FOIA requestThe 'freedom shirt' goes missing
Kirk's 'freedom shirt,' a key piece of residue evidence, is reported missing from evidence; security head Brian Harpole's account of cutting the shirt off in the ER (no CPR) is contrasted with Frank Turek's claim that CPR happened, while a court ruling allows Lance Twiggs to testify against Robinson by recording.
DocumentedCourt ruling; Shawn Ryan Show interviewMaroon-shirt thesis and SUV photos
Owens advances a plain-clothes-military 'maroon shirt' thesis naming an alleged 19th Special Forces operative, then releases withheld SUV photos in an emergency follow-up, arguing tempered glass with white flecks supports the exploding-microphone theory.
AllegedCandace Eps 356–357The Hearing
Preliminary hearing opens in Provo
Five days of evidentiary hearing begin before Fourth District Judge Tony Graf on seven charges led by aggravated murder, a capital felony; the State is seeking the death penalty. The only question at this stage is probable cause — whether the case proceeds to trial, not guilt. Erika Kirk attends and, per one attendee, invited social-media influencers to the courthouse.
DocumentedFourth District Court, Utah County; CNN, Deseret News, KSL'Permission to Kill' published on day one
The Network Contagion Research Institute publishes a report documenting 1,034 explicit threats against Erika Kirk across nine months and roughly 628 million views of surrounding content, naming Candace Owens as the most-cited individual in threat-related material. The threat surge is real; the report's causal claim rests on a Granger test, which establishes predictive timing rather than causation.
Documentednetworkcontagion.us, July 2026'It looks like a sniper pad'
The first officer to document the Losee Center roof testifies he found gravel bearing "markings of elbows, knees and feet" with a direct sight line to the stage. On cross he also concedes he found an empty pistol holster in the courtyard, never took custody of it, and cannot say whether it was ever fingerprinted.
DocumentedChristopher Bagley testimony; PBS NewsHour, Deseret NewsThe surveillance chain — and the gap in it
Prosecutors play campus footage placing a man matching Robinson on campus four times on Sept 10 — arriving 8:30 a.m., the event courtyard 9:25, food ~10:50, a clothing change in a wooded area, prone on the Losee roof at 12:22, fleeing after the 12:23 shot. Asked whether the compilation contains footage of the shooting, the State's witness answers: "There is not, judge."
DocumentedHearing testimony, day 2; CNN, Deseret NewsThe DNA, in both directions
The ATF forensic biologist agrees a flat "his DNA is on this item" is "not scientifically defensible," that the trigger swab is a degraded mixture of at least four contributors, and that DNA can transfer secondhand. The same testimony puts Robinson's profile across the rifle — stock, trigger, bolt, barrel, optic, cartridges — at a likelihood at least one trillion times greater than an unrelated person, with the towel reading ~95/5 and the rooftop screwdriver ~89/11 against his roommate.
DocumentedCaitlin Oliver testimony; PBS NewsHour, Deseret NewsBallistics: cannot match, cannot exclude
The ATF comparison on the one usable bullet fragment is inconclusive — insufficient individual characteristics to identify or exclude the recovered Mauser; the damaged fragments are classed as .30-caliber, not inconsistent with the rifle. A separate link bypasses the fragment entirely: a Dremel engraving tool from Robinson's home is tied to markings on cartridge cases found at his home and inside the recovered rifle.
DocumentedUnsealed ATF report (Apr 2026); hearing testimonyThe note, the letter, and the roommate
A handwritten note is displayed: "I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk, and I took it." A letter to his partner opens "Luna, if you are reading this per my text, then I am so sorry. I left the house this morning on a mission." In a recorded immunized interview, Lance Twiggs says Robinson confirmed the messages, cried the next day and "wishes he hadn't done it" — while also saying he never once heard Robinson discuss Charlie Kirk or LGBTQ issues.
DocumentedHearing exhibits; The Hill, CNN, Deseret NewsThe 21 minutes, and the backpack nobody tested
The roof went unsecured from the 12:23 shot until the first documenting officer arrived about 12:44, with other officers clearing the building in between; his body camera stopped mid-scene, he never reviewed footage of the gap, and the armed plainclothes man who accompanied him is still unidentified. Separately, an FBI examiner testifies that DNA-suitable items seized from library-area bus stops were never compared after a note she did not write — "belongs to Kirk's detailees" — halted the testing.
DocumentedHearing testimony; Deseret News, KSLFive days end without a ruling
Judge Graf grants the defense's request to brief the bindover question in writing instead of arguing it on the spot: State's brief July 28, defense August 11, State's reply August 18, with two hours per side of oral argument on September 1 — days before the anniversary of the killing.
DocumentedCourt scheduling order; KSL, Utah News DispatchLindsey Graham dies; his sister takes the seat
Sen. Lindsey Graham dies suddenly. South Carolina's governor, at the president's suggestion, appoints Graham's sister Darline Graham Nordone — who has never held elected office — to serve the remainder of the term; she is sworn in July 14.
DocumentedCNN, PBS NewsHour, Al JazeeraThe influence contract is documented
TIME reports, from FARA filings and sources, that Israel's foreign ministry engaged Brad Parscale's Clock Tower X through the agency Havas for a US messaging campaign — 100 original pieces a month, mostly aimed at younger audiences — with Parscale part-owning Influenceable, which pays influencers per engagement and distributes suggested language. The spending is documented; it establishes paid persuasion, not a hand in the killing.
DocumentedTIME, July 13 2026; DOJ FARA databaseKolvet concedes the Netanyahu call
In a post attacking Owens' account, TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet nonetheless concedes two of its elements: that the organization "politely declined having Netanyahu on the show," and that Kirk later took a call from Netanyahu after writing him a letter. He denies the alleged offer to take TPUSA "to the next level."
DocumentedAndrew Kolvet, public postThe counter-reading of the hearing
Four broadcasts recast the week as devastating to the prosecution: the fragment diameter as excluding the rifle, the rooftop screwdriver as planted during the unsecured window, a decoy on the roof who never fired. External checks refute several of these on their own terms — fired .30-caliber bullets measure about .300 across land impressions, touch-DNA degradation cannot date a deposit, and the same broadcasts' tampering and leak claims contradict each other.
AllegedCandace Eps 358–361The rooftop filmer's recorded account airs
The man who filmed the most-circulated rooftop clip is heard in a recorded September 2025 interview describing a figure in all-black tactical gear at roughly 175 yards, no visible muzzle flash, and a rifle that looked smaller than the recovered Mauser. He remains anonymous and was never called by the prosecution. His timing — the figure arriving about 12:22 — corroborates rather than contradicts the official sequence, and daylight makes the absence of muzzle flash forensically uninformative.
AllegedRecorded interview aired on Candace Ep 360A source account of the missing 911 call
An unnamed source is described as saying the call from the car does exist — a three-to-five-minute open line where nobody engaged the operator, carrying "we are taking him to the hospital," high-speed driving sounds, and the phrase "get that off of him." No recording has been produced, and the suggested meanings for "that" are the teller's speculation rather than the source's information. If the audio exists it answers a standing question; as presented it is one voice describing tape no one else has heard.
AllegedCandace Ep 366'This isn't a close case'
The State files its bindover brief, calling the decision "likely as straightforward a bindover decision as this court will ever see" and citing the confessions, the surveillance chain, the recorded roommate interview and the DNA. The defense reply is due August 11 and the State's rebuttal August 18.
DocumentedState's brief, July 28 2026; Deseret NewsThe rooftop footage is published
Footage held privately since October 2025 is released, showing the figure drop into a lateral crawl — movement the anonymous filmer had described in a September 2025 interview before any footage was public. It cuts two ways at once: it corroborates that witness, and it matches what prosecutors themselves described at the hearing, where the State's account also has the figure crawling to the corner before going prone. No gun is visible in it, a limit its publisher states plainly.
DocumentedFootage published Jul 29 2026; hearing testimony via Deseret NewsThe autopsy thread, and a claim that fails on check
A detailed wound track (C2–C7, carotid and jugulars, cord transected) plus a new finding of hemorrhage around the heart and lungs is attributed to a late-July prosecution memorandum that could not be independently retrieved; public reporting stops at the top-line cause and manner. Three medical objections are raised by credentialed but anonymous correspondents. A companion claim that Utah's chief medical examiner resigned has no 2026 record — the article circulating under it dates from 2016 and concerns a different official.
AllegedCandace Eps 368–369; check against KSL (2016), Univ. of Utah listingThe Timpanogos evacuation claim
A source is described as saying the hospital emergency room was cleared during the 10 a.m. hour on September 10 and its patients shuttled to another hospital by about 11:30 — two hours before the shooting. If documented it would be the strongest foreknowledge evidence in the case, and the right test is set out plainly: a shuttle was booked and driven, and staff at the receiving hospital saw it arrive. Single-sourced, with the offered corroboration coming from the same sourcing.
AllegedCandace Ep 369Two on-air retractions
The show driving the counter-narrative withdraws an insinuation about a named officer after an innocent explanation surfaces — he was conducting a threat assessment for an event ten days later — and separately withdraws a religious-practice argument underpinning one of its own theories, the practice having been permitted since 1963. Recorded here because error-correction is evidence about a source, and it points the opposite way from most of the errors catalogued alongside it.
DocumentedCandace Eps 371–372, on-air correctionsThe handedness question
In stairwell footage, the man in the maroon shirt is said to hold a phone in his left hand and pocket it on the left; Robinson is described as right-handed, his roommate as left-handed or ambidextrous. Handedness read from one blurred frame is unreliable — but the claim is specific, falsifiable, and answerable by a single unblurred 4K frame the State already holds, which makes it worth more than arguments that cannot lose. Also today: "Luna," the name opening Robinson's letter, is identified as a cartoon character — undercutting the trans-motive reading and a counter-narrative staging theory at the same time.
AllegedCandace Ep 373Oral argument — scheduled
Two hours per side before Judge Graf, after which he decides whether the case is bound over for trial. He will not rule on guilt. As of this writing the case has not been decided, and at least a dozen specific records capable of resolving its loudest disputes remain unpublished.
DocumentedCourt scheduling orderA timeline is not a verdict. It is the order the facts arrived in. The documented entries are independently checkable; the alleged entries are marked as such, and several would be settled by a single record that has not been released. Read it and weigh it — including the entries that cut against the reading you came in with.
